February is a key month in the mental health space!
3rd is Time to Talk Day, the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. This year’s theme, ‘the power of small’ is about having those small conversations that make a big difference in opening up, seeking/getting support, increasing understanding, acceptance, compassion and empathy. Remember, it’s also about sharing how we take care, and look after our mental health too! And, these conversations are for every day, not just one day.
7 – 13th is Children’s Mental Health Week. Its theme, ‘Growing Together’, is about growing emotionally and finding ways to help each other grow, by encouraging children, adults too, to consider how they have grown, what they need to help them grow, how they can help others grow too. So, what would be your answers to these three questions? Maybe a small conversation might then be next.
