A healthy lifestyle is so much more than going to the gym. That’s why our fitness experts curate this monthly newsletter giving you fitness, nutrition and well-being tips, because we believe the greatest wealth is health.
World Health Day was on 7th April. To celebrate, we are running a competition on Facebook and Instagram for you to win seven of our delicious smoothies or protein shakes.
Head here to try your luck now! Psst, you don’t need to be a member to enter, so tell your friends!
It’s no secret that fish is good for you. It’s full of protein, vitamins and minerals such as iron. But most importantly – omega-3 fatty acids.
Some health experts believe that fish oil supplements, especially those that contain higher amounts of EPA (one of the omega-3 fatty acids), could reduce depression.
Did you know that our PTs can work out your body fat percentage? A lot of the time, looking at the scales doesn’t give you a full picture of your progress.
Speak to our PTs about getting a consultation that will give you a more accurate picture of your health, including body measurements, a fitness test and blood pressure.
A lot of our Personal Trainers were trained through the Reynolds Group Training Academy.
We run courses in Beauty Therapy, Personal Training and Sports Coaching, for people of all ages. Some of the courses are full or partially funded, depending on their age and other factors. If you know someone who’d like to start a career in any of these subjects, get them to send an email to training@reynoldsgroup.co.uk.
Spring has finally come, which means it’s time to start showing off your tootsies in sandals and flip-flops. Hooray! To celebrate, we are running a special offer on our Zen Spa Pedicure. You’ll get gels and a callus peel for just £45! This doesn’t include a gel soak off, but it’s still a cracking deal. Speak to one of the Reynolds team for more information or to book.
Reynolds Performing Arts college is accepting new students!
The Reynolds Group goes beyond spas and fitness. We also have a Performing Arts college based in Dartford, where entertainers can learn more about being in the spotlight. Whether it’s dancing, singing or acting they love, we’ve got the experts to give them training and advice to get the career they want.
We are holding an open day on Wednesday 24th April from 9.30 to 12.00.
There will be talks from the Principal and information on the courses that we offer. Existing students will be there to answer questions and attendees will have the option of trying out different classes, from dancing to acting!
Email rpa@reynoldsgroup.co.uk, send a Facebook/Instagram message or call 01322 275807 if you, or someone you know, would like to come.
If you’d like more information on what we offer at the college, have a look at the Reynolds Performing Arts social media pages or check out our website.
“Be stronger than your excuse”
50% of Brits don’t eat breakfast, even though it’s the most important meal of the day! Here are a few healthy yet yummy ideas for those of you who lack motivation to have brekkie.
1. Overnight oats. Oats and Greek yogurt are the base of this delicious breakfast, but the toppings are up to you. Berries and chia seeds, or banana and peanut butter, are two of our favourite combos.
2. Avocado on toast. Opt for granary or seeded bread if you can. Avocados contain good fats, fibre and lots of potassium. Even more than a banana! Psst… this is also a great vegan option.
3. Smoked salmon and cream cheese on a bagel. Omega-3 fatty acids are great for the mind and this is a filling breakfast that will see you through until lunchtime.
4. Fruit smoothies! For those of you who are in a rush, a smoothie is a great idea. Just blitz up your favourite berries and you’re good to go.
