This week’s tip is about how you can use natural methods to manage migraines if you are a sufferer of them.
Migraines can have several different symptoms including: Throbbing or pulsating headache, sensitivity to light and sound, nausea or dizziness, palpitations, diarrhoea, sweating and tiredness.
There are several alternative methods that can be used to treat migraines:
Sound therapy– This uses different sound frequencies, such as percussion- type sounds, played in a session to aid relaxation and healing and remove negative energies caused by migraines.
Vitamin B2– A three- month Belgian study found B2 cut the number of migraine attacks by over a third of volunteers.
Co- enzyme Q10– A study at Jefferson University, USA, found migraine sufferers who took 150mg daily could reduce the number of attacks they had each month.
Magnesium– Taking a daily magnesium supplement could mean fewer and less severe attacks. And lastly-
Butterbur This British herb may help prevent migraine attacks completely, when consumed on a regular basis.
