5 A DAY recipes

Fruit and vegetables that are cooked into any kind of dish count towards your 5 A DAY. This means that some of your favourite meals can help you get your five portions.

Low in fat and calories, fruit and vegetables can help maintain a healthy weight and keep your heart healthy (as long as you cook them right!). They are a good source of vitamins and minerals as well as fibres to help you keep a healthy gut. There are so many benefits of fruit and veg, it’s stupid to ignore them!
